Renovation of Agya Dungkar Choling Monastry
As the first project of the foundation, Agya Dungkar Choling Monastery is being renovated. Agya Lama Rinpoche Kuenga Gyeltshen initiated the renovation in 2017 and completed the construction in 2018. However, due to time and budget constraints, the painting, mural painting, altars, statues, and religious objects are yet to be completed.
Construction of Hostels for Monks at Buli Lhundrup Woesel Choling, Bumthang
The second project, the construction of hostels for monks at Buli Lhundrup Woesel Choling, Chhumey, Bumthang is underway since 2020. The construction project received Nu. 5,000,000 from the Royal Government of Bhutan as a grant. However, the fund is not enough to complete the project. Therefore, the foundation is looking for financial support from interested individuals and organizations.
Preservation of sacred Treasure Teaching of Terchen Dorje Lingpa
The third project, restoration, and preservation of the more than twenty volumes of sacred treasure teachings of Terchen Dorje Lingpa is initiated in 2020. The texts are written with gold on traditional black Bhutanese paper.
Construction of Retreat Centers at Dungkar Choling Gonpa
The fourth project is to construct retreat centers at Dungkar Choling Gonpa, Shirmung, Mongar. The center should house seven retreatants, one Lama, and an assistant. Due to no funds, the foundation is yet to start the project. Simultaneously, the foundation is looking for financial support from interested individuals and organizations.
